The pH level will consistently and accurately stay within the desired range, thanks to the natural buffering system found in sera marin salt. A unique process allows sera marin salt to maintain trace elements in a form that keeps them continuously available in solution for an extended period.

Sera marin salt is free from any ingredients that would artificially enhance protein skimmer performance. It does not contain nitrates, silicates, or phosphates.

Sera (sea salt devoid of nitrates, phosphates, and silicates) provides calcium along with all the essential trace elements required for the successful cultivation of ornamental algae and lower resins in seawater. It features a mix of specialized compounds that assist in the removal of harmful substances like heavy metals and copper. The salt dissolves quickly and leaves no residue. With its natural buffering system, it guarantees a consistently optimal pH value.

Instructions for use: Dissolve Sera marin salt (approximately 33 g per liter of water) to achieve a water density between 1.022 and 1.024 g/ml in a container using treated water (osmosis) or chlorine-free tap water. Aerate for 24 hours or mix thoroughly with a submersible pump to ensure proper oxygen and carbon dioxide levels.

Warning: Do not dissolve sea salt directly in an active aquarium!

It is advised to change 5-10% of the aquarium water monthly, and additionally treat the water with sera aquatan and sera bio reef clear for improved water quality.

When establishing a new aquarium, treat the water with Sera aquatan and Sera bio reef clear, and allow the aquarium with all connected equipment (pumps, heaters, filter, etc.) to operate for a minimum of 14 days to achieve biological stability before adding fish.
