Silicates promote the proliferation of diatoms in both fresh and saltwater aquariums. Sera marin silicate clear effectively and permanently eliminates silicates.

Sera marin silicate clear comes in a convenient filter media bag. Prior to use, rinse it briefly under running water, then simply insert it into a filter or place it in an area with good water circulation. Its effectiveness lasts for up to three months, depending on the level of silicates in the water.

• 60 g is suitable for a 20-50 liter aquarium
• 500 g is sufficient for a 200-400 liter aquarium

Tip: The sera SiO 3 test can be used to accurately monitor the silicate levels.
