When applied as instructed, Reef Buffer will safely elevate the pH of your reef environment to 8.3, eliminating the risk of inadvertently increasing the pH to hazardous levels. KEY FEATURES:

• pK (8.6) provides enhanced pH stability in a reef system with a higher bioload compared to a fish-only setup

DIRECTIONS: Before use, measure the pH and alkalinity. To raise the pH by approximately 0.1 pH units, use 5g (1 level teaspoon) for every 150L (40 US gallons); this will also increase alkalinity by around 0.5 meq/L. Dissolve in a minimum of 250mL (one cup) of freshwater, then introduce it to the tank. The natural sea water pH ranges from 8.25 to 8.30. In a well-established reef system, pH adjustments may be required every two weeks to once a week. Dosing needs may differ, but refrain from exceeding the suggested amount without verifying your pH and alkalinity.
