Aquavitro Shrimp pHb is a key component of a two-part system designed to mimic the water chemistry found in the natural environments of freshwater shrimp by adjusting the water to the ideal pH for each shrimp species. When used as directed, shrimp pHb helps maintain the appropriate pH levels for freshwater shrimp, while also softening the water and promoting plant growth in shrimp tanks. This product utilizes a unique buffer system that is highly stable and does not introduce sodium, which can harm aquatic plants in the aquarium.

DIRECTIONS:
Utilize this product when establishing an aquarium and during water changes. Use in conjunction with shrimp pHa to effectively target a specific pH level. The provided doses are intended for 20L (5 US gallons). Doses can be safely increased if necessary. For sensitive shrimp or to minimize the risk of pH shock, consider distributing the dosing over a 12 - 24 hour timeframe.

To efficiently raise the pH in established tanks: Add 2.5mL (½ tsp) of shrimp pHb for every 20L (5 US gallons) every 12 hours until your desired pH is reached. Do not exceed this dosage. Rapid changes in pH can be harmful to shrimp. Some aquariums may need repeated applications to counteract the buffering effects of certain substrates and decorations, especially those that are humate-based.
