Alkaline Buffer is a non-phosphate solution designed to elevate pH levels and alkalinity (KH) while working alongside Acid Buffer. These buffers are specifically formulated for planted aquariums or in situations with exceptionally hard water, where phosphate buffers could lead to algae growth or cloudiness. Alkaline Buffer effectively raises pH and maintains levels between 7.2 and 8.5. It is safe, gentle, and promotes a healthy freshwater habitat.
