Exo Terra’s Heat Mats serve as an excellent 24-hour primary or secondary heat source for both tropical and temperate species of reptiles and amphibians, and are vital as a nighttime heat source for numerous desert-dwelling species. The Exo Terra Heat Mat adheres permanently to the terrarium, ensuring a strong connection for optimal heat transfer. It can be paired with an Exo Terra Thermostat and/or combined with other heating sources to accommodate higher-temperature species.
