Maxspect has unveiled details and visuals of an exciting new LED aquarium light, the MJ-L130. The MJ-L130 is a compact, fanless, passively cooled fixture with dimensions of 9½” x 4¾” x 1¼” (242 x 124 x 28.5 mm), equipped with 32 light-emitting diodes and a maximum power draw of 30 watts. Two versions will be available: the MJ-L130, featuring White, Sky Blue, Deep Blue, Violet, and UV LEDs, and the MJ-L130R, where the 'R' stands for Refugium, featuring White, Red, and Deep Blue diodes. This new Maxspect Jump MJ-L130 LED Light, a smaller sibling of the Jump MJ-L165 LED Light, is constructed entirely from aluminum with a sleek matte finish and is fully waterproof for enhanced safety. Moreover, its fanless, passive cooling design ensures it operates silently. This innovative light includes 32 LEDs divided among white, sky blue, dark blue, violet, and UV diodes, offering a maximum output of 30 watts. Red and green diodes have been replaced with blue, violet, and ultraviolet 395-400nm diodes, as these are the preferred choices for aquarists and corals alike. The new Maxspect MJ-L130 is designed with passive cooling and comes with an inline controller.
