Commonly referred to as a "dogwalk," this catwalk is a fundamental component of agility training. It features a slim, elevated walkway with ramps at either end. The dog is required to ascend the bridge, navigate steadily across the narrow platform, and safely descend on the opposite side.

The catwalk's height and width can be modified to suit the dog's size and the level of competition. For novices, the bridge can be adjusted to a lower and wider setting, while more experienced dogs will encounter the full height and a narrower structure of the obstacle.

Successfully crossing the catwalk demands that the dog maintains its balance while walking along the beam. Handlers must instruct their dogs to enter the bridge on cue, move with assurance across the surface, and safely descend on the far side.
