To provide water to the skimmer, an additional pump with a minimum capacity of 2,000 l/h (approximately 500 gph) is necessary. Additionally, the skimmer can be directly linked to the aquarium's overflow. In this scenario, it is advisable to install a bypass to regulate the water flow to the skimmer, particularly when using high-powered return pumps.
