Product Overview:

The Aquael ULTRAMAX 1000 is an advanced canister filter featuring patented technology to provide exceptional water purity and ease of use for both freshwater and marine aquariums. With its innovative design, it ensures efficient filtration and minimal maintenance.

Pre-Filter:

The ULTRAMAX 1000 includes a spacious 1.5-liter pre-filter built into the lid of the unit. This pre-filter effectively traps large debris, significantly reducing the frequency of filter maintenance. Cleaning is straightforward—simply lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket, and rinse it under running water. This process does not require removing the filter from the cabinet.

Double Ball Valve System:

The patented double ball valve system ensures a hassle-free maintenance experience. This system simultaneously closes the filter’s inlet and outlet, as well as the hoses, to prevent any water spillage when disconnecting the hoses. This innovative feature minimizes the mess and inconvenience typically associated with filter maintenance.

Self-Priming System:

Starting the filter is effortless with the self-priming system. A few simple movements of the piston are all it takes to flood the filter with aquarium water, making setup and maintenance easier than ever.

Smooth Performance Regulation:

Adjusting the filter’s performance is intuitive and simple. A small lever on the right valve allows for smooth, easy regulation of the filter’s operation. The lever is clearly labeled, making performance adjustments straightforward even for those new to aquarium care.

Effective Filtration:

The ULTRAMAX 1000 features multiple filter baskets with a capacity of 1.9 liters each, providing effective mechanical and biological filtration. Depending on the model, it can house between 3 to 5 baskets, offering a total media capacity ranging from 6.3 to 10.10 liters.

Thanks to its well-engineered pump impeller and ceramic impeller axis, the ULTRAMAX 1000 operates quietly, making it suitable for placement in any room, including bedrooms or home offices.

The ULTRAMAX series is designed for energy efficiency. The ULTRAMAX 1000 consumes only 15 watts, the ULTRAMAX 1500 consumes 16 watts, and the ULTRAMAX 2000 has a reduced power consumption of just 17 watts (a reduction of nearly 30% from previous models).
