The AQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is specifically designed to purify and aerate aquarium water. It effectively filters the water while also sterilizing it with the integrated UV LEDs. This helps eliminate floating algae, protozoa, and bacteria, enhancing water clarity and promoting the health of your fish. The UV LEDs can be activated or deactivated independently of the filter's operation. UNIFILTER UV is user-friendly and features a convenient efficiency adjustment knob, which also functions as a rotor dome. You can adjust the water discharge direction within a 90° range.

The larger models of UNIFILTER UV, including the 500, 750, and 1000, come with a ceramic rotor axis, contributing to quieter operation and ensuring long-lasting performance.

A specially crafted chamber for the filtration media prevents water from entering the aquarium during water changes and when the filter is removed for cleaning. Maintenance of the AQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is made easier with two independent sponge cartridges that can be removed and cleaned one at a time, alternately. This method helps preserve the nitrifying bacterial colonies essential for nitrogen transformations. To maintain continuous filtration, it is advisable to clean the sponge filter cartridges alternately.
