Specific features of individual models:
- classic 150 with a base for secure placement
- classic 250 includes a filter basket, with one each of coarse filter pad, fine filter pad, and activated carbon pad
- classic 1500XL equipped with a practical drain tap;
the pump unit can be operated separately from the canister
The filter can utilize both coarse and fine filter pads. However, we recommend a layered setup using EHEIM filter media. Filter Media Sets are available for each model (except classic 150).
