The professionel 4+ represents the latest evolution of our advanced external filters. Its square canister design provides excellent stability, ample filter capacity, fits perfectly in corners, and optimizes space usage.
Thanks to the innovative Xtender function, you can extend the intervals between filter cleanings.
The professionel 4+ filters come in three sizes, suitable for aquariums of up to 250, 350, and 600 liters.
The 250 and 350 models are also offered as thermo filters (T).

Self-priming
No more complex suction techniques! The self-priming aid starts the filter system quickly and easily.
Safety hose adapter
The tap unit features two hose connectors - for safety, the hose adapter can only be disconnected when both valves are closed.
Prefilter
The top prefilter effectively captures larger dirt particles and can be cleaned regularly, extending the time between media cleanings.
Filter baskets
Individual baskets for biological and mechanical filtration media. These baskets are easy to remove, and their contents can be cleaned effortlessly using the ‘Easy Clean’ grid. Simple to detach and clean.
„Xtender“ Control Function
If the media (fine filter pad) becomes obstructed, the flow rate can be boosted using the control function. This redirects the water while preserving biological filtration, allowing for a delay in filter cleaning for a few days.
