Adjustment and Monitoring
The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater represents an advanced version of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike its predecessor, it allows for programming and monitoring wirelessly via WLAN using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC.
It can be set with precision from 18 to 32 °C. Should the temperature deviate by +/-2 degrees, you’ll receive an email alert, assuming you have registered an email address.
Synchronization with Other Devices
A standout feature is the ability of the thermocontrol+ e to synchronize with other devices in the Eheim Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LEDcontrol+ lighting system. This enables you to program temperature adjustments based on filter flow changes (in bio mode) or whether the LED lights are on or off.
Example: When the filter flow increases during the night and the lights are turned off, the set temperature automatically adjusts: 25 °C during the day and 23 °C at night. (Note: The heater does not cool the water as it lacks an integrated cooling feature).
WLAN Connectivity
The thermocontrol+ e is fully submersible and waterproof. However, for optimal WLAN performance, ensure the heater is immersed only to the "water level" mark.
For your device's security, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is encrypted from the factory (password can be customized). After setting your desired temperature, you have the option to turn off the wifi network.
