Constructed from durable plastic, the Swing Microchip can be installed in various settings, including wood, glass, or masonry walls. Note: for installation on glass, it's recommended to consult a glass professional beforehand, as drilling into tempered safety glass or double glazing is not feasible unless done during the manufacturing process. When installing on metal doors, it’s necessary to insert a wooden spacer of at least 5 cm between the door and the metal surface to prevent interference with the door's recognition system. This latest model shares features with the Swing doors, including the Wind Stopper system to guard against drafts and a distinctive closure with a 4-way regulator. This allows you to control your cat's access—granting them the freedom to come and go, allowing entry only, exit only, or completely locking the door.
