Uses of Mitex 20 ml.

•  In cases of infection accompanied by pathogens sensitive to miconazole and polymyxin
• Treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and fungi.

Dosage and Administration

• For topical and ear use. Shake well before use.
• At the beginning of treatment, hair surrounding or covering the lesions should be trimmed. This procedure should be repeated during treatment if necessary.
• For external ear canal infections (otitis externa): Clean the external ear canal and ear, and place 5 drops of the veterinary medicine in the external ear canal twice a day. Gently massage the ear and ear canal to ensure even distribution of the active ingredients, but gently enough to avoid causing pain to the animal.
• Treatment should continue uninterrupted for several days after the clinical symptoms have completely disappeared, for at least 7 to 10 days and up to 14 days.
• In case of infection accompanied by ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) treatment of both ears should be considered even if the infection appears to be present in only one. Administer 5 drops twice a day for 14 days.
• For skin infections (superficial localized): Apply a few drops of the veterinary medicine to the skin lesions to be treated twice daily and massage well.
• Treatment should continue uninterrupted for several days after the clinical symptoms have completely disappeared and up to 14 days.
• In some persistent cases (ear or skin infections), treatment may need to continue for 2 to 3 weeks. In cases where prolongation of treatment is necessary, clinical examinations should be repeated, including re-evaluation of the diagnosis.
