Fill the bird's feeder with plenty of food. If your budgerigar is not accustomed to this diet, start with small portions and wait until nearly all of it is consumed before adding more. It may take a few weeks for them to adapt to a new food type. The daily requirement is approximately 10-15 g. During moulting, breeding seasons, or times of stress, mix PATEE into the feed to meet the increased need for protein and minerals. Always provide fresh, clean water daily.
