Picture your pet attempting to stand, turn, or sit in a kennel that is too cramped. To determine the ideal kennel size for your dog, measure from the top of their head to the ground and from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail. The kennel height should be an additional 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet, providing enough room for them to stand up comfortably, turn around with ease, and lie down fully! If the kennel is too small, your pet will feel cramped; if it's too large, they may try to relieve themselves in their space.
