This diet is ideal for transitioning your bird from its previous food to Roudybush. It should be provided to adult birds that are not currently laying eggs or nurturing chicks. Lories and lorikeets that adapt to this food will experience drier droppings compared to when they were on nectar. For birds that frequently lay eggs or those prone to hypocalcaemia, such as African Greys, it is recommended to combine 2/3 Maintenance with 1/3 High-Energy Breeder to enhance calcium and vitamin D3 intake. Avoid adding extra vitamin or mineral supplements. Fresh fruits and vegetable treats can be offered as a small component of their diet.
