Please follow these guidelines to help your new aquatic friends adjust to their new home. It’s crucial for the fish to gradually adapt to the water conditions of your aquarium.
To minimize stress, please switch off the aquarium light. Do not turn it back on until all new fish have been introduced to the aquarium and are settled in.
Carefully place the fish transport bag in the aquarium.
Open the bag while ensuring it stays upright in the tank, which can be achieved using a clamp.
Add aquarium water to the bag, filling it to about one-third of its total volume.
After 10 minutes, add more water from the aquarium to the bag.
Wait another 10 minutes before adding water a third time.
After an additional 10 minutes, you may gently use a net to transfer the fish from the bag into the aquarium.
Dispose of the remaining water in the bag responsibly.
