This lamp features a broad spectrum that provides the most accurate color representation. With a color temperature of 4700K, it closely resembles the gentle sunlight of a tropical morning. According to German standards, DIN, its light resemblance index is rated lA (the highest rating), achieving 92% similarity to natural sunlight.

The output of ultraviolet rays is minimized to 2%, focusing only on UV A and UV B, which are essential for terrariums that replicate swamp and tropical rainforest habitats, accommodating species that require lower UV intensity, such as spiders, scorpions, and insects. The smooth poisonous frog, for instance, relies on this level of ultraviolet light to avoid vitamin deficiency syndromes.

Numerous terrarium inhabitants depend on UV A and UV B light for vitamin D synthesis through their skin. For similar reasons, Sera Tropic Sun Royal is also an excellent choice for illuminating bird cages.
