Sera Magnesium-Test (Mg)-Reagent 3 Refi...
90.00 AED
Used to determine the concentration of magnesium (magnesium) in a marine aquarium reagent 3 spare cartridge Attention! Reagent 1 contains sodium hydroxide. Causes severe burns. Keep Regent locked up and out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves when working. If it gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with water, consult a doctor. In case of any nausea, seek medical help and take this manual with you An optimal concentration of magnesium is needed for marine invertebrates and algae. A perfect example is red calcareous algae. These consume large amounts of magnesium to build their skeleton. Natural seawater contains approximately 1300 mg/l. If we want to achieve optimal conditions in the marine aquarium, this concentration must be observed. You can conveniently and quickly determine the concentration of magnesium in a marine aquarium using the Sera magnesium test. The concentration of magnesium can be conveniently increased in the marine aquarium with sera magnesium plus.
The magnesium level can be increased with sera marin COMPONENT 6 magnesium. Reagent consumption depends on the calcium level of the checked water. Store in a cool and dark place!
Instructions for use:
US Information for use An optimal magnesium level is required in a marine water aquarium in order for invertebrates and ornamental algae to thrive. Calcareous red algae are a perfect example. These ornamental algae require particularly much magnesium, as they integrate this element into their skeleton. Natural marine water contains about 1,300 mg/l. This level should also be maintained in an optimal marine water aquarium. The sera magnesium-Test allows you to monitor the magnesium level in your aquarium quickly and easily. It is even easier if you have gathered testing experience by using the sera calcium-Test. You can easily increase the magnesium level in your marine water aquarium by adding sera marin COMPONENT 6 magnesium. Directions for use: Shake reagent bottles well before using! Do not allow tested water to contact aquarium or pond water!
1. Rinse the measurement vial several times with the water to be tested, then empty the vial. Dry the vial on the outside.
2. Rinse the syringe several times with the water to be tested, then fill 2 ml of it into the vial, using the syringe.
3. Add 6 drops reagent 1 and shake the vial until the liquid is evenly distributed. Possibly occurring cloudiness does not affect the test.
4. Add one level measurement spoon (included with the kit) reagent 2 into the vial and gently whirl the vial (do not shake) until the powder has dissolved.
5. Add reagent 3 drop by drop while counting the drops, release the reagent bottle from finger pressure after every 5 drops, allowing air to be drawn into the bottle. Shake vial after every drop until the color turns from pink into blue (not violet) and remains stable for at least 30 seconds whilst whirling the vial occasionally. Write down the number of drops used.
6. Empty the measurement vial, rinse it carefully with tap water and then several times with the water to be tested, then empty the vial. Dry the vial on the outside.
7. Take up 2 ml of the water to be tested into the syringe and fill it into the vial.
8. Add 6 drops reagent 4 and shake the vial until the liquid is evenly distributed. Possibly occurring cloudiness does not affect the test.
9. Add one level measurement spoon (included with the kit) reagent 5 into the vial and gently whirl the vial (do not shake) until the powder has dissolved.
10. Add reagent 3 drop by drop while counting the drops, release the reagent bottle from finger pressure after every 5 drops, allowing air to be drawn into the bottle. Shake vial after every drop until the color turns from red into green and remains stable for at least 30 seconds whilst whirling the vial occasionally. Attention – you will need considerably more drops for this measurement than for the first measurement!
11. Subtract the number of drops required for the first measurement from the result of the second measurement. Multiply the remaining number of drops by 60 to get the magnesium level in mg/l. Example: The first measurement required 4 drops, the second measurement 24 drops. If you subtract the first measurement result from the second one, 20 drops will remain. 20 drops multiplied by 60 makes 1,200 mg/l magnesium.
12. Cleaning: Clean vial and syringe thoroughly with tap water before and after each test. Close reagent bottles immediately after use and do not exchange caps. Store at room temperature and away from light. For testing ornamental fish aquariums and pond water only.
Store in a cool and dark place!

EHEIM pHcontrol+e pH-controller UK
1,195.00 AED
EHEIM pHcontrol+e – the smart controller for monitoring and readjusting the pH value in your aquariumWith the EHEIM pHcontrol+e you can easily monitor and optimize the pH in your aquarium via a smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC simply via a WiFi connection and your web browser. A pH sensor measures the current pH value of the water, and the pHcontrol+e automatically provides the necessary CO2 supply. By controlling the magnetic valve connected in series to the CO2 system it adds as much CO2 as required until the desired pH value is reached. To achieve this you must connect your CO2 system, i.e., a CO2 bottle via pressure reducer as well as magnetic valve (see the EHEIM CO2 sets) and a CO2 diffuser. The pHcontrol+e has a day/night control and can be linked to the lighting control EHEIM LEDcontrol+e (see the EHEIM DIGITAL family). In addition to light, nitrogen, phosphate, trace elements, etc., the plants in your aquarium need CO2 above all as an important nutrient. The better they thrive, the more oxygen they release, which the fish need to breathe. Thus, the EHEIM pHcontrol+e indirectly provides oxygen and the optimal pH value for your fish by adding CO2. This is usually between pH 6 and pH 8; pH 7 is considered a neutral value for reference.Note:The basis for measuring and stabilising the pH value is the carbonate hardness ("KH") of the water. Therefore, the EHEIM pHcontrol+e (in Smart mode) initially queries the KH value. Because KH, CO2 and pH value influence each other.Features of the EHEIM pHcontrol+eA smart controller for monitoring and controlling the pH value in the aquarium by regulating the addition of CO2.Includes Wireless WiFi connection with a WLAN-enabled end device (smartphone, tablet, PC/MAC).Has connection and compatibility with devices of the EHEIM DIGITAL family.Measures the pH value through the pH sensor (measuring range: pH 0 to pH 14).Control range of the controller pH 6 to pH 9.Needs to be coupled via pressure reducer with CO2 bottle (EHEIM CO2 set).Electronically controls addition of CO2 through interposed magnetic valve.Adjusts CO2 addition by linking with LEDcontrol+e (day/night control) in smart mode or simple and extended bio mode with own day/night control.Queries the KH value (carbonate hardness) in advance.Sets water test and calibration reminders.Guided calibrations of the pH sensor.Sends warning for deviation of pH value (up/down).Notes if EHEIM pH sensor needs to be replaced.Provides best performance, high power, stable connection, and large memory capacity through new improved chip generationHighest safety and reliability - 3 years warranty

sera gH-Test
FRESH WATER , PONDWATER TESTINGCAREMakes it easy to monitor the total hardnessFor approx. 420°dGH.
In case of too low GH values we recommend sera mineral salt. High total hardness levels can be lowered by mixing in R/O water.
For creating soft water we recommend adding sera blackwater aquatan or filtering through sera super peat.
Directions for use:
Shake reagent bottle well before using! Do not allow tested
water to contact aquarium or pond water!
1. Rinse the measurement vial several times with the water to be tested, then fill to
the 5 ml mark. Dry the vial on the outside.
2. Add reagent drop by drop. Shake vial gently after every drop, until the color
changes from red via brown to green.
3. The number of drops used from the reagent represents the existing total hardness
(in °dGH). E.g., 5 drops = 5°dGH.
4. Cleaning: Clean the vial thoroughly with tap water before and after each
test.
Close reagent bottle immediately after use. Store at room temperature and away from
light. Keep locked up and out of the reach of children. For testing ornamental
fish aquariums and pond water only.
US Information for use
Most ornamental fish originate from countries where the soil is poor in minerals.
However, it is exactly the opposite in many other areas around the world. Rain water
dissolves calcium and magnesium from the soil and consequently creates hard water.
With the sera gH-Test, you can quickly determine the exact total hardness. Looking
at the natural conditions helps selecting the optimal fish stock for a community
aquarium, and is a precondition for successful breeding. High total hardness levels
can be lowered by mixing in R/O water. A combination of sera aquatan and sera
blackwater aquatan or filtering through sera super peat will create soft water, as
required for most South American fish (e.g. from the Amazon basin).
