Equipalazone Oral Powder includes Phenylbutazone ("Bute"), a medication that acts as both an anti-inflammatory and a pain relief agent.

Indications for use: Equipalazone^® 1g Oral Powder is used to treat musculoskeletal issues in horses and ponies where the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects of phenylbutazone can provide comfort, such as in cases of lameness linked to osteoarthritis, both acute and chronic laminitis, bursitis and carpitis, as well as in minimizing post-surgical soft tissue reactions.

Dosage:

For Horses weighing 450 kg (1000 lb): Administer two sachets twice on the first day (which equals 8.8 mg/kg/day), then give one sachet twice daily for four days (4.4 mg/kg/day), followed by one sachet daily or every other day as needed to keep the horse at ease (2.2 mg/kg/day).
For Ponies weighing 225 kg (500 lb): Offer one sachet (4.4 mg/kg/day) every other day. Adjust the dosage based on body weight. If there is no noticeable improvement after four to five days, discontinue treatment. Equipalazone 1 g Oral Powder should be mixed with a small amount of feed.

Storage: Keep in a dry place and do not store above 25°C.
